Recorded over two winters in a converted lighthouse off the Portuguese coast. A record about reverb, restlessness, and the kind of quiet that hums.
Ola Sweet began in the back room of a record shop in 2019 — four friends trading cassettes and chord changes until the songs started showing up on their own. What emerged is a sound the band describes as "warm static": dream-pop architecture built from shoegaze haze, soul phrasing, and the kind of patient guitars that take their time arriving.
Across two EPs and now their debut full-length Halcyon Static, the band has built a reputation for live shows that feel less like concerts and more like weather — slow systems moving through rooms, leaving everyone a little quieter than they were before.

Occasional notes — new music, secret shows, demos that didn't make the record. No noise, only signal.
